Lay out all the kit parts, Decide if the door is to be on the east or west side of the greenhouse. Lay out the inside bed walls so that both the vent openings will be next to the door way, Stand up one section (east or west) and slide an inside bed wall into the pockets next to the door way. Make sure the bed wall is all the way in and level with the outside wall then screw into place. Next insert the other inside bed wall into the pocket on the other side of the doorway. Screw into place. Stand up the second end section and screw to the other end of the outside of the front bed Stand the other east or west end up and slide the inside beds all the way into the pockets then screw into place. Place the outside section of the front bed and screw to both end into the east and west wall. Check the square of the greenhouse before erecting the back wall Stand the back wall up and slide into the edge pockets of the east and west walls. Screw the back wall into place. The section with the choroplast lining and heat sink pipes facing to the inside of the beds. Install the south facing glazed section so that it aligns with the top of the front bed. Secure with two screws then align the back wall and glazing. Insulate the back wall then staple the house wrap over the back. Screw the door assembly into place on the preferred end and screw the filler door into the another end. Screw the corner polycarbonate piece in mate with curved surface. Tape the joint between the two surfaces and screw the half section of pex over the joint using self taping metal screws. The screws go into the curved metal pipe. If metal siding was part of your kit, the front bed and east and west wall will come with the metal installed. Complete hooking up the heating pipes, Add rocks , geotech fibre and then soil (not provided). The geotech fiber or landscaping fabric keeps the soil from filling in around the rocks, allowing air to flow freely around the rocks. |
